A Mother's Love: Reflecting on Motherhood, Sacrifice, and Gratitude

This Mother's Day reflection is especially meaningful to me because of the close relationship I share with my mom today. While there was a time when I felt misunderstood and distant from her, growing older helped me recognize her love, wisdom, and sacrifices. Listening to her experiences with pregnancy, loss, and motherhood has shown me just how strong she truly is. This article is a tribute not only to my mother, but to all mothers who have faced challenges, endured hardships, and continued to love their families with strength and grace.

A Mother's Love: Reflecting on Motherhood, Sacrifice, and Gratitude

This mothers day episode is very special to me, if you had previously listened to our

episodes, I am close to my mom. I know that's not the case for everyone, but I am lucky to

even express like this about my mom. Not gonna lie, at some point my mom was not my best

friend like many through puberty. I thought my mom would never understand me, but now

looking back she was trying to understand but I felt like no one would understand me, so I

closed her out. After that phase of my life, somehow even I don’t remember when I started to

get close to her and now she is one of the persons I trust the most.

One thing I never get tired of listening to is when she tells us about her pregnancies . None

of the pregnancies were easy and she also suffered a lost, and every time she speaks of her

experience I always think how strong she was going through, especially when most of the time

she did it on her own. I also recognize that she is not the only mother that has gone through

hard times when pregnant or trying to convince. There are good mothers out there and they

deserve to feel special and it doesn’t have to be on mothers day it should be everyday or atleast

say thank you.
