A Mother's Love: Reflecting on Motherhood, Sacrifice, and Gratitude

This Mother's Day reflection is especially meaningful to me because of the close relationship I share with my mom today. While there was a time when I felt misunderstood and distant from her, growing older helped me recognize her love, wisdom, and sacrifices. Listening to her experiences with pregnancy, loss, and motherhood has shown me just how strong she truly is. This article is a tribute not only to my mother, but to all mothers who have faced challenges, endured hardships, and continued to love their families with strength and grace.

While those realizations can be painful, they also teach us how to recognize the people who genuinely care about our well-being. Through life's challenges, I have learned that God often places new people in our path—people who encourage us, guide us, and eventually become family in their own way.
