Rewriting Our Self Image

There was a time when I hated looking at myself in the mirror. Instead of appreciating who I was, I focused on everything I believed was wrong with me. Looking back, I realize how unfair I was to the younger version of myself—a little girl who deserved kindness, confidence, and self-love. Today, I am learning to embrace my features, let go of unrealistic standards, and accept that there is only one version of me in this world. This journey is about more than appearance; it's about finding freedom, authenticity, and the confidence to be myself without fear of judgment.

Rewriting Our Self Image

I am going to be honest I hated looking at myself in the mirror, I hated what I saw in it. I

never gave myself the chance to actually sit and value myself. When I looked at myself I

would not realize that was me from the few times I did, and then I would look on tv shows

and see how much many of them would constantly see themselves in mirrors or any type of

reflection, which no hate to them, I just wished I would have done that and also learned to

value myself more. What I hate the most is all the trauma I put myself through as a little

girl, which was not fair and I know she deserved a lot more. Currently I am trying to learn

and be okay with all my features and not care about the stereotypes and feel plenty with myself.

I have learned to realize there is only one of me and no one can clone another one of myself.

Also I need to give myself one freedom and allow myself to dress and act how I want to, but

as long I am still a good person with no bad intentions.
