From Survival Mode to Abundance

For much of my life, I have found it easier to care for others than to care for myself. Whether it's speaking up for my needs, accepting compliments, or even buying something small that would make me happy, I often convince myself that I don't deserve it. Over time, I realized that constantly putting myself last was affecting my confidence and happiness. Learning to advocate for myself, challenge negative thoughts, and stop living according to other people's expectations has become an important part of my personal growth. This journey is about recognizing my own worth and giving myself permission to enjoy life without guilt or fear of judgment.

From Survival Mode to Abundance

In my opinion I need to advocate more for myself and work on my needs and use more positive

affirmations, but that is still something I need to work on and realize that I need to stop

being scared of what others think and that will allow me to grow and stop feeling I have to be

or do something a certain way so it satisfies the needs of others and and the end of the day I

still feel miserable because I am not doing things for myself. For example I tend to never buy

things for myself because I think that I am not worth it and it can be as simple as buying a

twenty dollar purse. I know it's not expensive but I still tell myself ‘I don’t deserve it’ and end

up not but if it was my sister even I would buy it for her. What I take from this is that I

also need to give myself a chance to enjoy my liking without the care of judgement of others.
