I am grateful for everything my parents have done for me, and I believe they played a role in many of my accomplishments. However, gratitude does not mean I owe them my entire life. While I value their wisdom and support, the decisions I make are ultimately mine. Success is something we work for ourselves, and true happiness comes from creating a life that aligns with our own values and dreams not simply living according to someone else's expectations.

Growing up with a younger sibling who is more than ten years younger than me has been both rewarding and challenging. Many older siblings naturally help care for their brothers and sisters, but sometimes that responsibility can become overwhelming. This experience, known as parentification, occurs when children take on parental roles within the family. While helping our families can strengthen sibling bonds, it's important to remember that older siblings also deserve the opportunity to enjoy their own childhood and receive support from their parents.
